The CXLB7387X series are highly integrated single cell3mI嘉泰姆

Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC designed for handheld3mI嘉泰姆

devices. The CXLB7387X integrates internal power FET,3mI嘉泰姆

current sensor, charge status and reverse current protection3mI嘉泰姆

in a single monolithic devices.When AC-adapter is applied,3mI嘉泰姆

an external resistor sets the magnitude of the charge3mI嘉泰姆

current, which may be programmed up to 1A.3mI嘉泰姆

The CXLB7387X charges the battery in three phases:3mI嘉泰姆

conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage.3mI嘉泰姆

Charge is terminated based on minimum current. An3mI嘉泰姆

internal charge timer provides a backup safety for charge3mI嘉泰姆

termination. The CXLB7387X automatically re-starts the3mI嘉泰姆

charge if the battery voltage falls below an internal3mI嘉泰姆

threshold. The CXLB7387X also automatically enters sleep3mI嘉泰姆

mode when DC supplies are removed. No external sense3mI嘉泰姆

resistor or blocking diode is required for charging.3mI嘉泰姆
