The CXLB7386 is a complete constant-current/constant-sNY嘉泰姆

voltage linear charger for single cell lithium-ion batteries.sNY嘉泰姆

Its ThinSOT package and low external component countsNY嘉泰姆

make the CXLB7386 ideally suited for portable applications.sNY嘉泰姆

Furthermore, the CXLB7386 is specifically designed tosNY嘉泰姆

work within USB power specifications.sNY嘉泰姆

No external sense resistor is needed, and no blockingsNY嘉泰姆

diode is required due to the internal MOSFET architecture.sNY嘉泰姆

Thermal feedback regulates the charge current to limit thesNY嘉泰姆

die temperature during high power operation or highsNY嘉泰姆

ambient temperature. The charge voltage is fixed at 4.2V,sNY嘉泰姆

and the charge current can be programmed externally withsNY嘉泰姆

a single resistor. The CXLB7386 automatically terminatessNY嘉泰姆

the charge cycle when the charge current drops to 1/10thsNY嘉泰姆

the programmed value after the final float voltage issNY嘉泰姆

reached.sNY嘉泰姆

When the input supply (wall adapter or USB supply) issNY嘉泰姆

removed, the CXLB7386 automatically enters a low currentsNY嘉泰姆

state, dropping the battery drain current to less than 2μA.sNY嘉泰姆

The CXLB7386 can be put into shutdown mode, reducingsNY嘉泰姆

the supply current to 25μA.sNY嘉泰姆
