     The CXSU63034 is a highly efficient fix frequencysynchronous step-upPZ7嘉泰姆
DC/DC converter. Output voltage of the device is adjustable. PowerPZ7嘉泰姆

1μA in shutdown. The 0.85V to 5V input voltage range makes the CXSU63034PZ7嘉泰姆
ideally suitable for single cell Li-ion battery, single or dual AA battery voltagePZ7嘉泰姆
step-up applications. Automatic PFM Mode operation increases efficiency atPZ7嘉泰姆
light loads, further extend battery life. Switching frequency is internally set at 1.2MHz, design for use of small value surface mount inductor, input andPZ7嘉泰姆
output capacitors. The internal synchronous switchesenhance efficiency.PZ7嘉泰姆
Anti-ringing control circuitry reduces EMI by damping the inductance effectPZ7嘉泰姆

The CXSU63034 is a synchronous step-up DC-DC converter.PZ7嘉泰姆
It utilizes internal MOSFET switches to achieve highPZ7嘉泰姆
efficiency over full load current range. It operates at aPZ7嘉泰姆
fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz, and uses thePZ7嘉泰姆
slope compensated peak current mode pulse widthPZ7嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) architecture. The device canPZ7嘉泰姆
operate with an input voltage below 1V and thePZ7嘉泰姆
minimum start-up voltage is 0.85V.PZ7嘉泰姆
2) Current Mode Operation PZ7嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 is based on a slope compensated peakPZ7嘉泰姆
current mode PWM control topology. It operates at aPZ7嘉泰姆
fixed frequency of 1.2MHz. At the beginning of eachPZ7嘉泰姆
clock cycle, the main switch (NMOS) is turned on andPZ7嘉泰姆
the inductor current starts to ramp. After the maximumPZ7嘉泰姆
duty cycle or the sense current signal equals the errorPZ7嘉泰姆
amplifier output, the main switch is turned off and thePZ7嘉泰姆
synchronous switch (PMOS) is turned on. This controlPZ7嘉泰姆
topology features cycle-by-cycle current limiting whichPZ7嘉泰姆
can prevent the main switch from overstress and thePZ7嘉泰姆
external inductor from saturating.PZ7嘉泰姆
3) Synchronous Rectification PZ7嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 integrates a synchronous rectifier toPZ7嘉泰姆
improve efficiency as well as to eliminate the need forPZ7嘉泰姆
an external Schottky diode. The synchronous rectifier isPZ7嘉泰姆
used to reduce the loss condition contributed by thePZ7嘉泰姆
forward voltage of an external Schottky diode. ThePZ7嘉泰姆
synchronous rectifier is realized by a P-channel MOSPZ7嘉泰姆
(PMOS) with gate control circuitry that incorporatesPZ7嘉泰姆
