     The CXSU63034 is a highly efficient fix frequencysynchronous step-upd4U嘉泰姆
DC/DC converter. Output voltage of the device is adjustable. Powerd4U嘉泰姆
dissipation during operation is only 40μA typical and drops to less thand4U嘉泰姆
1μA in shutdown. The 0.85V to 5V input voltage range makes the CXSU63034d4U嘉泰姆
ideally suitable for single cell Li-ion battery, single or dual AA battery voltaged4U嘉泰姆
step-up applications. Automatic PFM Mode operation increases efficiency atd4U嘉泰姆
light loads, further extend battery life. Switching frequency is internally set at 1.2MHz, design for use of small value surface mount inductor, input andd4U嘉泰姆
output capacitors. The internal synchronous switchesenhance efficiency.d4U嘉泰姆
Anti-ringing control circuitry reduces EMI by damping the inductance effectd4U嘉泰姆

The CXSU63034 is a synchronous step-up DC-DC converter.d4U嘉泰姆
It utilizes internal MOSFET switches to achieve highd4U嘉泰姆
efficiency over full load current range. It operates at ad4U嘉泰姆
fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz, and uses thed4U嘉泰姆
slope compensated peak current mode pulse widthd4U嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) architecture. The device cand4U嘉泰姆
operate with an input voltage below 1V and thed4U嘉泰姆
minimum start-up voltage is 0.85V.d4U嘉泰姆
2) Current Mode Operation d4U嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 is based on a slope compensated peakd4U嘉泰姆
current mode PWM control topology. It operates at ad4U嘉泰姆
fixed frequency of 1.2MHz. At the beginning of eachd4U嘉泰姆
clock cycle, the main switch (NMOS) is turned on andd4U嘉泰姆
the inductor current starts to ramp. After the maximumd4U嘉泰姆
duty cycle or the sense current signal equals the errord4U嘉泰姆
amplifier output, the main switch is turned off and thed4U嘉泰姆
synchronous switch (PMOS) is turned on. This controld4U嘉泰姆
topology features cycle-by-cycle current limiting whichd4U嘉泰姆
can prevent the main switch from overstress and thed4U嘉泰姆
external inductor from saturating.d4U嘉泰姆
3) Synchronous Rectification d4U嘉泰姆
The CXSU6303integrates a synchronous rectifier tod4U嘉泰姆
improve efficiency as well as to eliminate the need ford4U嘉泰姆
an external Schottky diode. The synchronous rectifier isd4U嘉泰姆
used to reduce the loss condition contributed by thed4U嘉泰姆
forward voltage of an external Schottky diode. Thed4U嘉泰姆
synchronous rectifier is realized by a P-channel MOSd4U嘉泰姆
(PMOS) with gate control circuitry that incorporatesd4U嘉泰姆
