CXHA3181是一个精确的数字温度计，它可以报告2个远程传感器和它自己的软件包的温度。远程传感器是二极管连接晶体管，通常是一种低成本、易于安装的2N3904 NPN型，取代了传统的热敏电阻或热电偶。远程精度为±1°C，无需校准。它还具有内置的噪声过滤功能，用于遥感器测量二极管温度。远程通道还可以测量其他集成电路（如微处理器）的芯片温度，这些集成电路包含一个片上二极管连接的晶体管。2线串行接口接受标准系统管理总线（SMBus）的写入字节、读取字节、发送字节和接收字节命令，以编程报警阈值和读取温度数据。数据格式为11位加号，每一位对应0.125°C，采用两位补码格式。测量可以自动和自主地进行，转换率由用户编程或编程为在单次拍摄模式下操作。可调速率允许用户控制电源电流消耗。CXHA3181有一个小的，10针MSOP表面安装包。
