The CXLB7387X series are highly integrated single cellgc8嘉泰姆

Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC designed for handheldgc8嘉泰姆

devices. The CXLB7387X integrates internal power FET,gc8嘉泰姆

current sensor, charge status and reverse current protectiongc8嘉泰姆

in a single monolithic devices.When AC-adapter is applied,gc8嘉泰姆

an external resistor sets the magnitude of the chargegc8嘉泰姆

current, which may be programmed up to 1A.gc8嘉泰姆

The CXLB7387X charges the battery in three phases:gc8嘉泰姆

conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage.gc8嘉泰姆

Charge is terminated based on minimum current. Angc8嘉泰姆

internal charge timer provides a backup safety for chargegc8嘉泰姆

termination. The CXLB7387X automatically re-starts thegc8嘉泰姆

charge if the battery voltage falls below an internalgc8嘉泰姆

threshold. The CXLB7387X also automatically enters sleepgc8嘉泰姆

mode when DC supplies are removed. No external sensegc8嘉泰姆

resistor or blocking diode is required for charging.gc8嘉泰姆
