The CXLB7387X series are highly integrated single cellt1F嘉泰姆

Li-Ion/Polymer battery charger IC designed for handheldt1F嘉泰姆

devices. The CXLB7387X integrates internal power FET,t1F嘉泰姆

current sensor, charge status and reverse current protectiont1F嘉泰姆

in a single monolithic devices.When AC-adapter is applied,t1F嘉泰姆

an external resistor sets the magnitude of the charget1F嘉泰姆

current, which may be programmed up to 1A.t1F嘉泰姆

The CXLB7387X charges the battery in three phases:t1F嘉泰姆

conditioning, constant current, and constant voltage.t1F嘉泰姆

Charge is terminated based on minimum current. Ant1F嘉泰姆

internal charge timer provides a backup safety for charget1F嘉泰姆

termination. The CXLB7387X automatically re-starts thet1F嘉泰姆

charge if the battery voltage falls below an internalt1F嘉泰姆

threshold. The CXLB7387X also automatically enters sleept1F嘉泰姆

mode when DC supplies are removed. No external senset1F嘉泰姆

resistor or blocking diode is required for charging.t1F嘉泰姆
