     The CXSU63034 is a highly efficient fix frequencysynchronous step-upCGQ嘉泰姆

1μA in shutdown. The 0.85V to 5V input voltage range makes the CXSU63034CGQ嘉泰姆
ideally suitable for single cell Li-ion battery, single or dual AA battery voltageCGQ嘉泰姆
step-up applications. Automatic PFM Mode operation increases efficiency atCGQ嘉泰姆
light loads, further extend battery life. Switching frequency is internally set at 1.2MHz, design for use of small value surface mount inductor, input andCGQ嘉泰姆

The CXSU63034 is a synchronous step-up DC-DC converter.CGQ嘉泰姆
It utilizes internal MOSFET switches to achieve highCGQ嘉泰姆
efficiency over full load current range. It operates at aCGQ嘉泰姆
fixed switching frequency of 1.2MHz, and uses theCGQ嘉泰姆
slope compensated peak current mode pulse widthCGQ嘉泰姆
modulation (PWM) architecture. The device canCGQ嘉泰姆
operate with an input voltage below 1V and theCGQ嘉泰姆
minimum start-up voltage is 0.85V.CGQ嘉泰姆
2) Current Mode Operation CGQ嘉泰姆
The CXSU63034 is based on a slope compensated peakCGQ嘉泰姆
current mode PWM control topology. It operates at aCGQ嘉泰姆
fixed frequency of 1.2MHz. At the beginning of eachCGQ嘉泰姆
clock cycle, the main switch (NMOS) is turned on andCGQ嘉泰姆
the inductor current starts to ramp. After the maximumCGQ嘉泰姆
duty cycle or the sense current signal equals the errorCGQ嘉泰姆
amplifier output, the main switch is turned off and theCGQ嘉泰姆
synchronous switch (PMOS) is turned on. This controlCGQ嘉泰姆
topology features cycle-by-cycle current limiting whichCGQ嘉泰姆
can prevent the main switch from overstress and theCGQ嘉泰姆
external inductor from saturating.CGQ嘉泰姆
3) Synchronous Rectification CGQ嘉泰姆
The CXSU6303integrates a synchronous rectifier toCGQ嘉泰姆
improve efficiency as well as to eliminate the need forCGQ嘉泰姆
an external Schottky diode. The synchronous rectifier isCGQ嘉泰姆
used to reduce the loss condition contributed by theCGQ嘉泰姆
forward voltage of an external Schottky diode. TheCGQ嘉泰姆
synchronous rectifier is realized by a P-channel MOSCGQ嘉泰姆
(PMOS) with gate control circuitry that incorporatesCGQ嘉泰姆
