       CXSD62246 is a monolithic asynchronous buck regulator. The device provides 1.6A of continuous load current over a wide input voltage of 6V to 40V. It uses current mode control to regulator the output voltage and provides fast transient response. The CXSD62246 is equipped with an automatic PFM/PWM mode operation. At light load, the IC operates in the PFM mode to reduce the switching losses. At heavy load, the IC works in PWM mode. Hiccup mode current limit and thermal shutdown elements for a full protection under fault conditions. Anti‐ring function is to reduce the influence of EMI. This device, available in a SOP‐8 package, provides a very compact system solution with minimal reliance on external components.
